Woollams is an ideal venue for a wide range of field team sports events, one-off representative fixtures from county to junior international, single or multi-day competitions or training academies.
Woollams is easily accessible with ample parking for 350 cars and 6 field sport pitches maintained to the highest possible standards. The high specification changing rooms are designed to segregate sexes and also children from adults. The changing rooms feature integral showers, individual lockers and safes for valuables. There is a separate changing room for officials and a physiothereapy/treatment room.
The principle rugby competition pitch is adjacent to the pavilion and has floodlights and an electronic score board. The pavilion offers superb viewing from a first floor terrace, just off the main bar and underneath is a 74 seat stand.
Depending on availability, additional pitches of the same high specification and facilities are available from the adjacent St Albans School ground.
