OA Sport Clubs

Forthcoming events

OA Sports Club is one of the finest amateur team sports facilities in the UK. The club opened in September 2002 and represents an investment of over £7m to establish a high specification, state of the art community sports facility. The competition standard playing fields, together with the adjacent St Albans School facilities, cover over 70 acres and are one of the largest field sport facilities in the UK.

The pavilion building combines a traditional club environment with superb facilities for players and spectators alike. The playing surfaces are maintained to representative match standards and Woollams has hosted international, county and first class fixtures.

OA Sport supports affiliated amateur members clubs who play team sports to high level and maintain both youth and adult sections. These clubs emphasise training and development provided by qualified coaches and aim to provide opportunities for young people to improve standards and skills and ensure the long-term success of the clubs.

The amateur sports clubs based at Woollams are as follows:

OA Rugby

OA Mini & Junior Rugby from U7 to U17

OA Saints WRFC

St Albans Centurions & colts & juniors

OA Tennis

OA Cricket and U12 and U13

These members' clubs are open to all sections of the local community and are keen to welcome new members.
