Become a Saint

The Saints look forward to a fresh start with a new Head Coach, Darran Brown, taking the helm. It has taken a season for the Saints to rebuild the squad and really focus on recruitment as the main drive to stick to the 3 year plan of running two ladies sides and finish in the top two of the league.

Many new players have joined the Saints through the summer and preseason, we also welcome five junior saints who are now eligible to play at Senior Women’s level. Our squad is constantly growing and much of this has been due to inviting local teams to play in a mini tournament at OAs to build relationships, increasing our presence on social media and taking part in RFU supported schemes such as the ‘Pitch Up and Play’ to bring girls into rugby.

Off the pitch, the saints are as ever keen to fundraise and get involved in main club activities. Look out for the ever popular Saints calendar and race night hosted by the saints which will take place in the early part of next year.
Team building events are important to keep the squad united, this includes fancy dress, team BBQ’s, activity days and participating in 7s and 10s Tournaments. In May this year the saints livened up the inaugural Amsterdam National 7s Tournament which most definitely had an appetite for fun!

The Saints as ever are looking forward to welcoming new and players of all ages and ability.
