History

OA Saints is the women’s rugby section of Old Albanian (OA) Rugby Football Club. The women’s section were originally part of St Albans RFC, based in Smallford which formed in 1989 from only four female players. The name ‘Saints’ refers to their origins at St. Albans which the OA’s women’s section bears with nostalgic pride.

At its best OA Saints grew to a squad of over 55 and gained the reputation as the top women’s club in the region. We are 25 years old and counting…….
