We would like to welcome you to OA Tennis. The club boasts 4 top quality
astro turf courts. The cost of adult membership per annum is £120.00,
with the season running from 1st April to 31st March. This can be paid
by standing order at only £10.00 per month! Junior annual membership is

OA Tennis offers a full coaching programme for adults and children. The
coaching professional, Diana Wilkinson, runs ladies mornings every day
except Tuesdays. All standards of players are welcome. There is also an
adult mixed class running from September 2005 from 0900 – 1030 on a
Sunday morning, all members are invited. Our Junior classes are for all
age groups and run every Saturday morning with Robert McDonald, an
excellent LTA coach. Robert is also available for private lessons.
During school holidays OA Tennis also offers childrens’ holiday camp
tennis, again organised by Diana. All enquiries on coaching should be

Sunday morning is club morning, when members are encouraged to turn up
for a game of doubles from 1030 onwards…or before if you are up!
We currently have three teams participating in the Watford District
League, a Mixed, Ladies and a Mens, as well as a Ladies team that play
in the Herts weekend league. Considering we are a small club, but
looking forward to expanding, the teams this season have done incredibly
well. The Ladies came 3rd in their division, the Mixed, 4th after
gaining promotion last season and the Mens team hopefully will gain
promotion after finishing second in their division. All these matches
are played during the week from Monday to Thursday nights, starting at
6.30pm. The matches are then completed with a sumptuous tea in the
Pavilion. If you feel you can add to the teams success for next season
and you would like to play in the teams, or would just like to play
social tennis or maybe need coaching, we would love to have you on
board, so please call either Sue Barnes or Diana Wilkinson for
membership details.
